We’re a band of storytellers and visual creators who love what we do and believe in the power of film to bring people together. From engaging social media content, epic commercials and brand films that resonate with the target audience, to narrative features and documentaries that give individuals a voice - we create compelling films that combine creative storytelling with captivating visuals to connect people with ideas, emotions, and experiences.
Filmmaking is our craft, and we love the cinematographic process of painting with light to create beautiful visuals - hence the name "Lumina", derived from the latin word "Luminare" wich means illuminate / give light to. But at the heart of our work is storytelling, with a special passion for capturing human subjects.

Stefan Bors
FOUNDER | CREATIVE PRODUCER | DOP | EDITOR
Stefan’s love for storytelling began at age eleven when he first read The Brothers Lionheart. Since 2018, he’s been making his mark in the industry as a diverse filmmaker, working in both creative and technical roles on everything from commercials and branded content to short films and music videos. With a Bachelor of Arts in Screenwriting from Dalarna University, a passion for cinematography, and ever-evolving entrepreneural ambitions, Stefan brings creative flair, technical knowledge, and a solid understanding of the industry to the table. Starting his own production company was a natural next step, backed by his experience, connections, and a genuine love for bringing stories to life.
Johan Hulander
SCREENWRITER | EDITOR | TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
Johan, a hardworking Gothenburger who knows a little about a lot, is a fountain of ideas and a problem solver who thrives in situations where time is tight and the pressure is high. His interest in film began as a child when he got his hands on his parents' old DV camcorder and pretended to film epic movies. Fast forward to today, and he has studied Screenwriting at Dalarna University, filmed a documentary abroad on a sailboat, and taken on various roles in TV series, short films, branded content, and documentaries. For someone like him, there’s nothing better than learning something new and collaborating in a team, so what could be better than starting a production with likeminded people?

Daniel Dannäs
CLIENT RELATIONS | CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, the American Swede discovered his love for film as a young boy watching Michael Mann's The Last of the Mohicans, which sparked a lifelong passion for cinema. Growing up as an athlete, movies became a cherished escape and a source of inspiration. He later studied theater and film at Loyola Marymount University, where he deepened his understanding of storytelling before transitioning into acting. Over time, his fascination with the creative process became the driving force behind his career. Now based in Stockholm, he has worked as a First Assistant Director and Production Manager. Today, he channels his passion into his role at Lumina Film where he is dedicated to elevating the company’s vision and crafting meaningful story-driven experiences.

Not to mention the collaborative process we strive to foster with our clients, but also by working together with an ever expanding network of skilled freelancers in different aspects of film and media production, enabling us to deliver on most requests and project scopes beyond our in-house capability.
