Great films are born from great collaboration. Our production process is designed to bring ideas to life through a blend of creativity, technical expertise, teamwork, and a dash of fun along the way.

Sounds great, but how does this even work?
The journey can differ depending on the project, it's needs, budget and scale. Some of the parts might not be necessary, or maybe you have already locked in some of them yourself. But a full-scale production process from idea to finished film generally looks something like the road map below.

We first say hello with a friendly chat (virtually or in person) to get to know each other and talk about your needs, goals and communication challenges. We then assemble a project brief outlining the objectives, key messages, and creative direction based on our discussions - accompanied by a cost estimate.

- INCITING INCIDENT
We ensure everyone is on the same page about the vision and the cost. Once you give the green light, we dive right into crafting it. Either we brainstorm a concept from scratch, or develop your initial idea, and then present it accompanied by visual references.

We organize the logistics, assemble the crew, lock in the proper spots to shoot, find the right faces to bring the story to life - wether you need actors, real people or a mix of both. We’ll also set up a clear production timeline, so everything runs smoothly.

SCENE 3 - SETTING THE STAGE

ACT 2 | MIDPOINT
- ESCALATION
We prepare all the technical and art-department aspects. From selecting the appropriate cameras, lenses and lighting to designing and setting up the production environment. For more advanced setups, we schedule rigging-days before the shoot to make sure everything is in working order and secure an effective filming process.

SCENE 4 - ROLLING OUT THE CAMERAS
- RISING ACTION
Time for action! Our director and crew executes the shoot according to the storyboard and production plan, capturing high-quality footage and ensuring each shot aligns with the vision.

SCENE 5 - CAPTURING THE VISION

- CLIMAX:
We log and edit the raw footage, assembling the film into a cohesive narrative. We then present a rough-cut of the film for your initial review. If you want to make bigger changes - this is the time to do it. We then continue with smaller adjustments in final revisions.

- FALLING ACTION
We layer dialogue, sound effects, voiceovers, and music through toughtful sound design to enhance the emotion and impact of your story. Then mix everything to sound as good as possible on the desired plattforms. We have a vast catalouge of high quality music at our disposable to license for your film. We also collaborate with established composers for when you wan't exclusive, tailor-made tracks.

SLATE 5 - WEAVING THE NARRATIVE

The footage is first color-corrected to bypass the raw look from the camera and create an even starting point throughout the footage. We then fine-tune the colors and look to create the desired mood and feel, ensuring your film looks polished and professional.

SCENE 7 - SHAPING THE PALETTE
- CREDITS
Any necessary animations or graphics are added to further engage the audience. We can work with already existing brand assets delivered from you, or create new motion graphics from scratch.
When the project calls for visual effects we are no strangers to working with compositing and animation to create sets and atmosphere that enrich the storytelling in our films. We even have access to our own studio for working in a controlled environment with advanced techniques like chroma key/green screen.

Once your are happy with the master version, we’ll optimize and format everything for the designated platforms.
